How to Submit an Enhancement Request for iPrescribe

Purpose: Learn how to submit an enhancement request to share your ideas for features or workflow improvements directly with the iPrescribe Product team. 

Audience: All iPrescribe users

We value your feedback! If you have an idea for a new feature or an improvement to an existing workflow in iPrescribe, you can submit an enhancement request directly to our product team. Enhancement requests help us understand how providers and practice staff use iPrescribe every day — and where we can make it even better.

What Is an Enhancement Request?

An enhancement request is a suggestion to add new functionality or improve an existing feature in iPrescribe. This is different from a support ticket, which is used to report a bug or a technical issue.
Examples of enhancement requests include:

  • Adding a new search filter in the patient medication history view
  • Updating a workflow to reduce the number of taps required to complete a task
  • Requesting support for a new device or operating system version

If you're experiencing a technical problem or something isn't working as expected, please submit a support ticket instead.

What Happens Next?

The iPrescribe product team reviews each enhancement request based on overall demand, alignment with product direction, and technical feasibility.
Submitting a request does not guarantee that the feature will be added to a future release. Our team reviews every submission as part of our ongoing product planning process.

Tips for a Strong Submission

Include these details in your description to help our team fully understand your idea:

  • The problem you're trying to solve – What challenge does this enhancement address?
  • Your current workaround – How are you handling this today, if at all?
  • The impact – Who would benefit, and how often would this feature be used?

The more context you provide, the better we can evaluate and prioritize your request.
