iPrescribe is moving to a bottom tab navigation layout. This replaces the previous hamburger-menu structure with tabs you can access from the bottom of your screen at any time.

The "More" tab holds the same options that used to live in the hamburger menu, but it's now available from anywhere in the app instead of only from the home screen. You can also swipe back through flows as needed.

Peerson is now accessible from any screen in the app. Previously, Peerson was only available on select screens. You can now chat with or ask Peerson questions no matter where you are in iPrescribe.

Pharmacy change request cards now show what was originally prescribed alongside what the pharmacy is requesting, giving you clearer context at a glance.

Peerson is DrFirst's AI-powered clinical decision support tool, built into iPrescribe. It draws on a broad medical content library — journals, drug databases, and clinical guidelines — combined with generative AI. Peerson is designed to support, not replace, your own clinical judgment.

Because Peerson has its own tab, you can ask a clinical or prescribing question while a prescription is still in progress. Your prescription is preserved while you're in Peerson, so you can tap back to it and continue right where you left off.

Peerson also includes a Feed of curated clinical news and insights, a Weekly Dose personalized podcast episode, and Bookmarks for saving articles you want to revisit.

You can also launch Peerson directly from a Patient Profile using the new "Ask Peerson AI" entry point in the profile header. This opens Peerson with that patient already loaded as context, so you don't have to set it up yourself.
