Effective February 28, 2024, DrFirst will update processes to meet Identity Assurance Level (IAL2) federal security standards.
Experian or ID.me are identity proofing vendors; InfinID is a program that hosts the process.
Contact your Account or Channel Manager to determine whether identity proofing through Experian or through ID.me is right for your organization.
In IAL2, the Experian Transaction Number (ETN) has been renamed Verification Code.
This article directs you in using your verification code to complete the identity proofing (IDP) process via Experian.
Verification Code:
After you pass identity proofing, you will receive an identity proofing confirmation email which will require your Verification Code. This step must be completed to finalize EPCS credentialing.
Please note: Within this email is a link to enter the transaction number. Please do not delete this email.
Inputting your Verification Code:
1. To complete set up, you are required to submit a verification code. The delivery method of the verification code will be indicated on your screen.
- If your method of delivery is by letter, you must wait to complete your EPCS account setup until after you receive this letter.
Note: The verification code within the text message is only valid for 7 days, and the verification code within the letter is only valid for 30 days.
