Reset iPrescribe login password

Purpose: Reset a forgotten iPrescribe login password from the login page, or change a known password after logging in.

Audience: Registered, active iPrescribe users.

Reset a forgotten password

Use this method when you can't log in because you forgot your password.

Know before you start
  • Your username and password are case-sensitive.
  • You must answer 2 of 3 security questions correctly. You have one attempt.
Reset your password using Need help logging in?
  1. On the login page, select Need help logging in?

    Locked out after 3 failed attempts

    If you enter an incorrect password 3 times, your account locks for 5 minutes. Wait out the lockout period, then select Need help logging in? to reset.

  2. Enter your username and complete the CAPTCHA. Select Recover Password
    The system sends a password reset email to your registered email address.
  3. Check your email inbox for the subject line "Request to reset your iPrescribe password."
    • Check your spam filter if you don't see the email.
  4. Select the Reset Password link in the email. 
    The link opens a new browser window.

  5. Answer 2 of the 3 security questions correctly, then select Continue
    The Reset Your Password page opens.
  6. Enter your new password:

    • New Password: your new password.
    • Confirm New Password: your new password again.

    The system rejects passwords used in the past 180 days.

  7. Select Change Password
    A Credentials Updated notification confirms your password change.

When to submit a request to Support

  • You don't know your username.
  • You did not set up security questions.
  • You have forgotten the answers to your security questions.

Use this method when you know your current password and want to update it.

Steps to change your password (logged in)
  1. Open the iPrescribe app.
  2. Select the Menu icon (☰) at the top left of your screen.
  3. Scroll down and select Settings → Password.
  4. On the next screen, enter:
    • Password: your current password.
    • New password: your new password.
    • Re-Type Password: your new password again.
  5. Select Change
    A confirmation message confirms your password was changed successfully.
