Purpose: Reset a forgotten iPrescribe login password from the login page, or change a known password after logging in.
Audience: Registered, active iPrescribe users.
What you need to get started:
- Your username.
- Correct answers to 2 of 3 security questions; you have one attempt.
- Emails, usernames, passwords, and answers to security questions are case-sensitive.
- If you enter an incorrect password 3 times, your account locks for 5 minutes. Wait out the lockout period, then select Need help logging in? to reset.
Reset a forgotten password
Use this method when you can't log in because you forgot your password.
On the login page, select Need help logging in?
iPrescribe login window > Need help logging in? link Enter your username and complete the CAPTCHA. Select Recover Password.
The system sends a password reset email to your registered email address.Forgot Password CAPTCHA - Check your email inbox for the subject line "Request to reset your iPrescribe password."
- Check your spam folder if you don't see it within 5 minutes.
Select the Reset Password link in the email.
The link opens a new browser window.Password reset email > Reset Password link Answer 2 of the 3 security questions correctly, then select Continue.
The Reset Your Password page opens.Reset password, security questions page Enter your new password:
- New Password: your new password.
- Confirm New Password: your new password again.
The system rejects passwords used on this account in the past 180 days.
Select Change Password.
A Credentials Updated notification confirms your password change. You can now log in with your new password.

When to submit a request to Support
- You don't know your username.
- You did not set up security questions.
- You have forgotten the answers to your security questions.

Change your current password after logging in
Use this method when you know your current password and want to update it.
Watch the animation to see how to change your password after logging in.
- Open the iPrescribe app.
- Select the Menu icon (☰) at the top left of your screen.
- Scroll down and select Settings → Password.
- On the next screen, enter:
- Password: your current password.
- New password: your new password.
- Re-Type Password: your new password again.
- Select Change.
A confirmation message confirms your password was changed successfully.
After logging in, you may access patient profiles and e-prescribing workflows.
