Purpose: This article explains how to change your password after logging in and how to reset a forgotten iPrescribe login password from the login page.
Audience: Registered, active iPrescribe users.
Change your password after logging in
Use this method when you know your current password and want to update it.

Use this method when you know your current password and want to update it.
- Open the iPrescribe app.
- Select the Menu icon (☰) at the top left of your screen.
- Scroll down and select Settings → Password.
- On the next screen, enter:
- Password: Your current password.
- New password: Your new password.
- Re-Type Password: Your new password again.
- Click Change.
Reset a forgotten password
Use this method when you cannot log in because you forgot your password.
- Your username (case-sensitive).
- Emails, usernames, passwords, and answers to security questions are case sensitive.
- You must answer 2 of 3 security questions correctly. You have one attempt.
1. On the login page, select the Need help logging in?
Note: If you entered an incorrect password 3 times, your account locks for 5 minutes. Wait out the lockout period, then select Need help logging in? to reset.
2. Enter your current username and complete the CAPTCHA. Select Recover Password.
3. Check your email inbox:
- Search for the subject line "Request to reset your iPrescribe password."
- Click the blue Reset Password link provided in the email.
- Check your spam filter if you do not see the email.
4. The email link opens a new browser window. Answer 2 of the 3 security questions correctly, then click Continue.
5. On the Reset your Password page:

Enter your New Password.
The system will reject passwords used in the past 180 days.
- Enter your Confirm New Password.
- Click Change Password.
6. A 'Credentials Updated' notification confirms that your password was changed successfully.
