Purpose: This article is for providers using iPrescribe on a mobile device. It explains how push notifications work, where to manage notification settings, and how username setup determines which practice notifications are received.
Audience: iPrescribe users
Note: Manage push notification preferences from your mobile device's notification settings, not within the iPrescribe app.
Push notifications are messages that appear on the home and lock screens of your Android or iPhone devices. These are distinct from in-app notifications.
If push notifications aren't appearing on your device, make sure you have the latest version of iPrescribe installed.
You may be associated with multiple practices in iPrescribe. Your username setup determines which practice notifications you receive on your mobile device.
If you have separate usernames for each practice
- Notifications are tied to the last username you used.
- For example, if you most recently logged into Practice B, you won't receive notifications for Practice A.
If you have one username for multiple practices
- You can switch between practices under that username.
- You will receive notifications for all linked practices.
