Cannot sign and send controlled substance prescriptions (update TOU)

Purpose: This article explains how to resolve the error message 'We are extremely sorry but the prescription cannot be signed and sent at this time" by accepting updated Terms of Use in the EPCS Gold Prescriber Dashboard.

Audience: Prescribers who have registered through Experian and have not yet accepted the current Terms of Use.

If the Terms of Use you accepted on the EPCS Gold Prescriber Dashboard are out-of-date, you will receive this notification: "We are extremely sorry but the prescription cannot be signed and sent at this time. Please contact your system administrator or Support." You can resolve this by following the steps outlined below.

1. Access the EPCS Gold Prescriber Dashboard. Log in with your NPI number and passphrase (controlled substance password).

2. Complete login by selecting your token from the drop-down menu and entering your one-time pin or one-time passcode (OTP) from that token.

3. Read and accept the updated Terms of Use (TOU).

Note: You may need to log out of the EPCS Gold Prescriber Dashboard and log back in for this to take effect. Still having trouble? Contact Support for additional help.
